From SIGSEM
- DENK (Dialoogvoering en Kennisopbouw)
Aim/Scope:Exploration, formalization and computational modelling of communication, in order to build advanced cooperative human-computer interface.
- Dyana II (Dynamic Interpretation of Natural Language)
Aim/Scope: The foundations of natural language interpretation and its consequences for knowledge representation.
- Fracas (A Framework for Computational Semantics)
Aim: Bring about a convergence of current efforts in computational semantics.
- LISA (Linguistische Inferenz fuer die Semantische Auswertung)
Aim/Scope: Investigate inferences in natural language processinf are and how they can be modelled computationally. Specifically, we use tools such as Higher-Order Unification and abduction to capture the linguistics of certain discourse phenomena. Furthermore, we show how various knowledge sources can be used to make those highly general tools computationally tractable.
- SFB 340 - project B9 "Computational Semantics"
Aim/Scope: Realizing an inference-based method of computational semantics without making the conventional assumption that all, or at least most, of the premises be available in an unambiguous, fully specified manner.
- TRINDI
Aim/Scope: Building a computational model of dialogue moves.
- Verbmobil
Aim/Scope: Development of a mobile translation system for the translation of spontaneous speech in face-to-face situations.
